Divine Inspiration ~  Divine Truth

    I was working on a construction site in Huntsville, Alabama back in the 80's managing a small crew that supplied all  the raw materials and hauled off the refuse from the apartments being built in the Alabama clay.  On one crew there was a scrawny bag of bones and hair who spoke with a totally deep southern drawl whom I shall refer to as the Hairball.  He had a way with profanity and was not the slightest bit afraid to engage in this catharsis whenever the situation demanded.  And the situation demanded it often.  The Hairball's girlfriend, a blonde who was attempting to live with him, would bring him to work every day and drop him in the parking lot and we could often tell when they had arrived.  It was a fractious relationship which he would cuss about with great vigor and you could sometime discern the latest issue at a hundred meters or more as he vacated the car .   

    One day this long suffering blonde dropped him off , there was a slam of a door, a stream of profanity, and the Hairball  arrived truly in a state.  He steamed back and forth, his eyes glazed over, he came close to being speechless.  He almost frothed at the mouth.  He couldn't work.  He almost couldn't even cuss so great was the atrocity that woman had performed upon him.  It must have been truly horrible because the Hairball couldn't even finish his morning beer.  Then suddenly, he could bear no more.  The Hairball gazed up at the sky to the Lord God  Almighty and erupted, bellowing his anguish in that deep southern voice with all the power his pot-soaked lungs could muster:

"If women didn't have pussy thare'd be a bounty on em."

The crew stopped.  All eyes turned towards the Hairball.  Everyone on the crew realized they had just witnessed Divine Inspiration.  Divine Truth.  And they smiled and shook their heads with the wisdom thereof.  The story of the Hairball's Divine Inspiration soon spread across that muddy construction site.  Wherever the story of the the Divine Truth of the Hairball was told, the smiles of those receiving the wisdom of the ages would follow.

If you catch the right women in the right mood you can get them to laugh about this.  Catch'em in the wrong mood and you better git.
